The Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP) supports the Generali Group in optimizing digital services and service quality. GOSP utilizes shared technology platforms for the group.
As a joint venture partner, Accenture supports transformation, innovation, and scaling. GOSP develops solutions for digitalization and the implementation of a cloud-centric model, encompassing areas such as IT infrastructure, procurement, security operations, and anti-money laundering.

The Group Procurement unit manages the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services across the organization to ensure cost efficiency and supplier consistency. It centralizes procurement activities to leverage scale, optimize contracts, and support strategic business goals.

We're looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) to lead sourcing initiatives within the Generali Group's Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM) domain. The position is limited until 30.06.2027. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives in RE&FM within the Generali group
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and compliance standards
Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, etc) to ensure procurement alignment with project needs
Drive cost optimization and value creation through market intelligence and benchmarking
Support contract management and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders

Profile

University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in an international environment
Proven experience managing sourcing activities for real estate services, facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects
Familiarity with vendor management in RE&FM categories such as cleaning, security, catering, HVAC, and energy services
Proficient in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Ivalua)
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management
Familiarity with risk assessment and compliance frameworks
Understanding of RE&FM-specific KPIs, SLAs, and sustainability metrics
Experience with lease administration, property lifecycle cost analysis, and FM service benchmarking
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities as well as high attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
Proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented mindset and team player with cross-functional collaboration experience
Ability to influence internal clients and drive cost optimization without compromising service quality
Fluent in English (written and spoken) / German, Czech, or other European language is a plus
